In 2007, Hartford Youth Scholars accepted its first class of middle school Scholars, and we've continued to add a new class every year since then. Today, in May of 2023, we over 100college graduates, along with 250+ more Scholars (7th grade through college senior) who are on their way to earning a degree. Some things have, unfortunately and necessarily, changed as the covid-19 pandemic has been and will continue to affect students everywhere.

Our Scholars are some of the hardest-working students in the nation, and they also are being impacted more profoundly than others as their on-campus jobs, meals, and other supports are gone. Contributions at this time will be especially appreciated as we continue to find ways to help our Scholars navigate this stage of their academic careers.
